Owning both the WISMEC Reuleaux RX200 and RX200S, I can confidently say I’ve never been inclined to take it outdoors. The portability of the triple 18650 behemoth didn’t make logical sense when I had other devices easier to carry around within arms-reach. The weight, the bulkiness and the amount of batteries that’s required to transport the older RX200 Mods is unrealistic. But I always loved the performance, construction and visual appeal of WISMEC products but was stuck in a ‘stay at home’ dilemma. Having the Reuleaux RX2/3 has been a godsend since it can be used in the signature triple cell format or a new dual 18650 orientation, giving you a more ergonomic and versatile device; reducing the size almost 30% in a matter of seconds and only weighing 242g with installed batteries!

Why WISMEC Reuleaux RX2/3 Wholesale Stands out from The The WISMEC Reuleaux Series? Installing the third battery door extends the WISMEC Reuleaux RX2/3 back to its standard triple size, power bumps back up to a comfortable 200W (now a staggering and accurate 250W with the 4.12 update), maintaining that powerful, heavy, triple cell Box Mod that we’re all familiar with. But where the Reuleaux RX2/3 shines is the dual battery model for that easier grab and go vaping experience. Battery life does suffer by removing that third battery but if you plan on running it anywhere close to the 150W-200W range, throw that third battery back on. Once you hold the mod in the slimmed down frame and see how comfortable it truly is in the hand, I don’t see why you would add that third battery ever again!

The WISMEC Reuleaux RX2/3 was designed by JayBo in the USA and built by WISMEC in China. The two-tone gray RX200S was getting dull so I’m glad I was sent the stunning all Black version (available in several color combinations). The WISMEC Reuleaux RX2/3 is roughly 5mm taller and weights a couple grams more than the RX200S because of the battery door release button located on the bottom. When sitting the mod down, it tends to rock back and forth and doesn’t sit solid on a flat surface because of the protruding bottom button; just something I noticed. The WISMEC Reuleaux RX2/3 shares the identical shape in triple cell mode besides the height difference as earlier models. Even though it’s recommended to use 25A or higher High-Drain 18650 batteries, I’ve been using 20A LG HG2’s and I’ve noticed no performance disadvantage at all.

One of only a few changes made to the WISMEC Reuleaux RX2/3 is how the battery door attaches. With the previous iterations, the doors were held on by magnets. By pressing the small square button underneath, it unlocks the bottom of the battery door and simply remove it. At times the release button needed extra force to unlock properly but gets easier with repetition. Install either battery door the same way by inserting the top of the door first, at an angle, which is tricky the first few times. Then push the bottom tabs into place which locks the door securely. The first couple days, I was performing it backwards by pushing the tabs in the bottom first and snapping the top into place; common sense should’ve kicked in. I’m lucky I didn’t break the top hooks off both doors! Keep in mind that when closing either door, you won’t hear a click which I thought was odd and that mine was possibly defective. When releasing the doors, it will click; weird.

Why WISMEC Reuleaux RX2/3 Wholesale Stands out from The The WISMEC Reuleaux Series? The chipset in the WISMEC Reuleaux RX2/3 is very similar to the RX200S besides being one of the first intelligent platforms that can switch from dual or triple battery output without any extra commands in the software, making the transition between the two a quick, simple exchange. In other words, the software will adjust the wattage depending on your battery configuration. You can add a custom logo or the default WISMEC logo that appears where the wattage is displayed after a couple of seconds, when attaching the device to a computer. The output voltage limit in dual battery mode is 6V and triple up to 9V.

The 0.96inch OLED display screen is easy to read inside but outdoors it is difficult because of the slightly tinted lens. The same 5-clicks on and five more off operating system that we’re familiar with WISMEC products repeated here. It supports Nickel, Titanium, Stainless Steel and three Manual TCR inputs. Fires down to 0.05Ω in TC and 0.1Ω in Power Mode and can heat up from 200°-600°F. Firing the 9.2mm fire button with the same JayBo etching from previous versions gives you instant power with a very miniscule delay, easy to click and comfortably located.

A big concern for me is the issue of discharging batteries out of sync since switching from two to three battery modes will obviously discharge your batteries unevenly. I caught myself taking the third battery door off, throwing it in the box and just running the dual configuration, not realizing that I’m breaking up the three married batteries. My recommendation using the triple orientation is providing a three-pack of new or already married batteries and when switching to dual mode, have a separate pair and install those. It does involve the extra step removing and keeping track of five batteries instead of just three but is worth the additional work to ensure battery safety and longevity. Just be smart and practice common battery sense when charging and discharging.
Why WISMEC Reuleaux RX2/3 Wholesale Stands out from The The WISMEC Reuleaux Series? Always charge your 18650 or any vaping batteries with an external charger that accurately displays the charging mAh and voltage of each battery independently. Trusting the Box Mods to give you legitimate readings is a bad idea as it’s been proven to be wildly inaccurate. Just know that once one of your batteries discharges below 3.1V, the WISMEC Reuleaux RX2/3 will display ‘Weak Battery’ and prevent you from firing the device.

The WISMEC Reuleaux RX2/3 retains the same decent Stainless Steel 510 threads and spring loaded 510 pin. I haven’t had issues with mine but I’ve heard of many complaints of vapers receiving a product with a garbage 510 connector; quality control is believed to be the problem. The fire button remains the same as the RX200S but the regulatory buttons have changed. Instead of two individual 5.6mm round buttons, the Reuleaux RX2/3 has implemented a rocker type (I call it a Teeter-Totter) button that’s supposed to be easier to click with one hand. Unfortunately, it feels like cheap plastic and not of the same material as the prior buttons. The responsiveness seems good so I haven’t had any issues with it. I haven’t had any button, battery or device rattle whatsoever and the build quality
