The LOSTVAPE Drone BF DNA 166 Squonker Mod has the heart of the Evolv DNA250. The Lost Vape design team has created what looks to be another fantastic great squonk box based on, or at least inspired by, the Lost Vape Triade chassis. However, the Lost Vape Drone is a Dual 18650 box, not the 3x cell setup we see in the Triade. The Lost Vape Drone BF Squonker DNA166 TC Box Mod is set to enter the squonk-ready segment in spectacular fashion, presenting a beautifully crafted chassis design Lost Vape have come to known for along with the integration of Evolv's DNA 250 Chipset.
The structural chassis of the Drone BF DNA166 is inspired by the core foundation of the acclaimed Triade apparatus, featuring a poly-angular frame with futuristic lines and elegant combination of high-end materials and accenting for a visually stunning aesthetic. Using a Dual 18650 power source the Lost Vape Drone BF throttled down the Evolv DNA250 to a still powerful 166W. We suspect the Drone to have what’s known as the Evolv DNA 167, a special modified version of the DNA250. Following the successful Triade box mod, with its poly-angular frame, the Lost Vape Drone adds futuristic lines accents and an stylish combination of high-end materials for an aesthetic that our own Julia will most assuredly address in a future “Vaping Aesthetics” column.
The Drone BF implements a cutout located at the base of the chassis that houses the squonk bottle for ergonomic integration and convenient access. The magnetizes battery door supports dual high amperage 18650 batteries, while simultaneously complete the sturdy and appealing aspect of the device. Another benefit of the design includes a centered 510 connection, allowing for a wide range of atomizer sizes while preventing over-hang. The Lost Vape Drone BF has, in the simplest terms, located the squonk bottle in the same position the Triade would place its 3rd 18650 battery. Access to the squonk bottle is through the bottom of the chassis. Like the Triade, the magnetized battery door lifts off from the back, where the user inserts the dual high-amp (25A and above) 18650 batteries.

The design team at Lost Vape seems to have a knack for integrating interesting curves, angles, and various organic materials like wood and leather into their mods to make them stand apart ergonomically and visually. No doubt their mods are pricey, but it still feels like you are getting a pretty good bang for your buck when you pick one up and use it. With its signature Lost Vape design and rock solid Evolv chipset, I expect the Drone DNA166 BF will be no exception to the Lost Vape formula by providing reliable regulated performance in a beautifully stylized form factor.
